It’s exactly the same as the original RE2 story from from the 90s. resident evils story is much more complicated than just “some zombie virus crap”. It is easily the best remake of any game to date. Ammo isn't too scarce if you play REmake2 on normal, nor do you have to stress about limited saves. Then again, I never played the original Mafia, but I think the remake mechanics ought to be comparable to or better than the mechanics of L.A Noire. The acceleration is great, but the brakes are terrible. The one part of the race track that causes me to always crash is the sharp turn that comes up after you've been driving straight for a while. Mafia 1 is an excellent "start from scratch" remake of the first game in the engine used in the 3rd game. It's so good that sadly it means it's all downhill from there if you play in story order and not release date order. Mafia 2 DE is just a upscale of the original M2 game. Yeah, I feel like Hanger 13 got caught up in the criticism from some corners of the internet that Mafia and especially Mafia 2 were "too linear" and that people wanted a real open world game, but they clearly had no idea how to actually make an open world game interesting. I read that there is no difference because the Deluxe edition will be updated automatically to the Definitive edition. I don't think that there could be as many new bugs compared to the older Mafia games because Mafia 3 is still newish and there aren't alot of graphical changes added to it (pple said it looks the same).
