Hi there. I have a Mazda 6 GH diesel 2.2 from 2008. Had the DPF flashing. I paid a small fortune to have it removed and ecu remapped but the guy could not remove the DPF flashing fault. On one of the forums, DPF flashing is also an indicator of timing chain issues. Anyone else had this ? There is a bit of timing chain rattle on the car, but For more car make which can perform DPF reset function, the official site will write notice. If you do lots of town driving or in slow moving traffic the DPF won't get hot enough to do a regen properly and you'll get a raise in oil levels, require more frequant oil changes. Remove the key from Ignition Switch, close all doors in your car, open the driver door only and leave it open. (within 5 seconds or faster).
